The Music Circle

The Music Circle

Emily Cooper sits of the board of Annie Lennox's registered charity The Circle of Women.  Their mission is to inspire and connect women – create an environment where women can come together: to share experiences, harness their skills, draw on their resources, influence and bring about lasting change. Ultimately to support some of the most disempowered women and girls in the world as they challenge the injustice of inequality.

The Music Circle which is part of The Circle of Women, was formed in spring 2011, founded by Emily Cooper. Together with Laura Martin, the pair invited a selection of key women across the music industry to join the newly formed Music Circle. The women came together to discuss ideas and ways in which they could collectively use their skills and knowledge to help raise money and awareness for important female related causes.

The Music Circle has raised over £100k to help empower women around the world.

The Circle is a community like no other…. We are a connective hub, bringing women together from various influential professional and creative sectors, to inspire each other – share ideas and bring about new ways of engagement in order to support and transform the lives of women and girls living in poverty in developing countries.” Annie Lennox, The Circle Founder
